Myrtle Beach Convention review

Wednesday the FCF Wild Feline Husbandry Course was attended by over 43 students and USDA agents. The highly acclaimed continuing education class was taught by certified instructor Mindy Stinner, co-founder of the Conservator's Center, Inc. with assistance from  Brian Ferko, instructor-in-training.

Saturday's line up of speakers included field researcher Jim Sanderson, Chilean wildlife rehabber Fernando Vidal, Brazilian researcher Anne-Sophie Bertrand, FCF member Fred Boyajian, animal trainer Doc Antle, media spokesperson Dan Stockdale, professional wildlife educator Ron DeArmond, and of course, international film producer, Nigel Marvin.

Doc Antle certainly set the standard of excellence at his T.I.G.E.R.S. facility, with the well trained ambassador animals, his keepers, and his beautiful facility. The entertaining demonstrations and strong conservation message kept everyone's attention.

This year's Lotty was awarded to FCF Conservation advisor Jim Sanderson, Ph.D. As I said in my presentation to Jim - he puts the 'conservation' into the Feline Conservation Federation.
